The NEW biocide generated is usually dosed into a water line using precision dosing pumps to regulate the volume of solution added over a prescribed time period. The dosing volume is determined by the length of stroke and rate of stroke. Extreme accuracy can be achieved to ensure the correct volume of biocide is delivered at the right time.

The advantages of using precision dosing pumps are:

• PID functionality to link to monitoring sensors and control unit to trigger dosing
• Reliable operation through use of automatic bleeding
• Protection of the pump against overload with integrated relief valve.
• Reproducible dosing accuracy better than ±2 %
